5 Crucial Elements of Personal Power & Resilience

"Are you the author or the reader of your narrative?" - Lola Wright

In the craziness of today's world, it's quite natural to feel that life is happening to us, that inner peace is a pipe dream, and our ability to rebound is becoming more difficult. But the truth is, no one and no thing can diminish our power, disrupt our peace or lessen our resilience without our permission.

We are powerful creators and we were meant to experience ourselves that way. When we eclipse, disperse or otherwise give away this gift to anything outside of ourselves, we cut ourselves off from our life force and stop ourselves from fully living the life that we came here to live. This creates feelings such as sadness, depression and anxiety. When we experience these emotions, we often try to source our power from people and things outside of ourselves, which inevitably eats away at our sense of integrity and self-esteem and sets us up for adopting mindsets rooted in lack, fear and disconnection.

By understanding how to tap our own source of pure potentiality and stoke the fires that exists within us, we open ourselves up to experience our power and resilience more fully while inviting and inspiring others to do the same. When we learn to consistently engage in behaviors and thoughts that support us in summoning, maintaining and enhancing these qualities, our world opens up.

During our time together, you will:

  1. Learn 5 crucial elements to help you tap, claim and maintain your power, your peace and your resilience.
  2. Explore specific ways these elements could benefit you, directly.
  3. Learn simple strategies for incorporating each of these elements into your daily life.

Quality Questions

"We cannot solve our problems with the same level of thinking that created them." - Albert Einstein

When faced with a challenge, be it as an individual or an organization, we usually start by asking questions. But what if those questions are low-quality, low-frequency questions? For starters, they'll generate low-quality, low-frequency answers. They'll also keep us tethered to the problem and likely cause our situation to deteriorate even further. The last thing we want to do is become reactionary, remain stuck in the status quo, spiral down into a state of fear and negativity, or arrive at a "solution" that simply trades one problem for another. Low-quality questions take many forms, but often look like:

  • What's wrong?
  • Who is to blame?
  • Why does this always happen to me/us?
  • How do I/we get out of this mess?

As Einstein knew, if we really want to solve a problem, we need to elevate our consciousness. The consciousness of a question, and therefore, the answer, determines:

  • WHETHER AND TO WHAT DEGREE WE EMPOWER OR DISEMPOWER OURSELVES
  • WHETHER AND TO WHAT DEGREE WE EXPAND OR LIMIT OUR THINKING
  • OUR ABILITY TO PROBLEM-SOLVE
  • THE DIRECTION WE TAKE (and therefore)
  • OUR SUCCESS OR OUR FAILURE

During our time together, you will:

  1. Learn the elements of a high-quality question and why they're so important.
  2. Learn how to turn a low-quality, low-frequency question into a high-quality, high-frequency, empowering, expansive, solution-based, life-giving question
  3. Explore some of the best high-quality questions and how you might use these in your own life and organization
  4. Create questions for your own personal/organizational pain points
